David Hawkins, author of Power vs. Force, did an analysis of the word persuade. What he found was that persuade is a negative word! It contains energy that zaps your audience.
So, stop trying to be persuasive. Focus instead on being sincere and adding value. As soon as people see you are not out to convince, persuade, or sell them anything, you will become more influential.
They will see that you are genuinely sharing because something is of interest to you and you believe it is of interest to them. Nor are you trying to push people to your side.
So stop persuading and start adding value.
