I Remember As A Young Girl My Mom Telling Me, “Wisdom Doesn’t Come From Age. Sometimes The Youngest Person In The Room Can Be The Wisest If They Learn From Their Mistakes.”

That has always stayed with me. Matter-of-fact, in our family we had Failure Dinners.
You were to bring your biggest failure—share what happened, what you learned, and what you would do differently. My only rule was “if you are going to bomb do it gloriously because if you aren’t making mistakes you aren’t growing.”
My husband and I would bring a failure as well and more often than not, the wisdom these little kids dispensed to us was priceless. They saw events through more innocent eyes and often more kindness.
Take time today to reflect on your failures. What did you learn from them? And if you feel some are holding you back, call us to see how you can move past them and create the future you want!
