Fear of loss of knowledge on the team.

When you, the leader, fear losing someone you will almost always start “bending” the rules for that person. You may let them do a process slightly different from others. Or you may give them a pass on something they said.

Never ever be held captive by someone’s knowledge. We train all our leaders on how to build simple yet powerful in-house training for all tasks in their office. This eliminates your need to keep someone just for their knowledge. You need to be able to let people go if they don’t play as one strategic team.

Stick to your process and make all committed to following your values and processes. In the absence of that, you have no continuity.
